The upgraded culvert crossing included:

• Two channels of box culverts on a cast in situ base with a link slab between;
• Wing walls with inlet and outlet aprons; and
• Reno mattresses on the outlet side and concrete protection works to the road interface.

Construction works on the projected included:

• Demolition and excavation works;
• Setting out of new works;
• Earthworks and preparation of subgrade;
• Construction of culvert bases, crowns and link slab;
• Construction of Wing Walls, Aprons, Gabions, and Reno mattresses;
• Backfill and compaction to establish road bed;
• Construction of concrete protection works;
• Construction of road over culvert;
• Construction of drainage and signage; and
• Finishes and site cleaning.
