The completed facility provides improved access and functionality for the community, including:

• 24 standard parking bays;
• 1 accessible parking bay;
• 4 long bays to accommodate vehicles with trailers;
• One-way vehicle circulation with entry from McDowall Street and exit onto Quintin Street;
• Provision for future shaded parking and electric vehicle charging infrastructure;

Construction works on the project included:

• Site establishment, demolition, and clearing of the former structure;
• Bulk earthworks and preparation of subgrade;
• Installation of drainage and services;
• Construction of kerbing, pavements, and parking bays;
• Line marking and traffic flow configuration;
• Installation of lighting and electrical provisions;
• Landscaping works; and
• Final finishes and site clean-up.

The project was delivered in collaboration with local contractors, with construction commencing in mid-2024 and completed in December 2024.
